Yin Yoga is a slow, meditative practice designed to nourish the deeper layers of the body—connective tissues, joints, ligaments, and fascia—while calming the nervous system. Postures are held for longer periods of time, allowing the body to soften gradually and the mind to settle into stillness. This class invites you to slow down, breathe deeply, and turn inward. Rather than engaging muscles, Yin encourages surrender, patience, and presence. With the support of props and guided awareness, you’ll explore gentle stress on the tissues to support joint health, circulation, mobility, and energetic balance. Yin Yoga is both physically grounding and emotionally restorative. Expect moments of quiet reflection, mindful breathing, and an opportunity to release tension held in the body and mind. This class is especially beneficial for stress relief, recovery, emotional processing, and cultivating mindfulness. Suitable for all levels. No prior yoga experience is necessary.
